Plunge Boom specialise in imaginative and interactive street theatre for family audiences. In addition we provide workshops and outreach, event production and consultation services.
Our Street Shows and events are playful, engaging, and extremely hands-on. They actively invite people to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into an inventive range of activities, from whipping up cow pat cakes to rocking a baby marrow off to sleep.
Established in 2006 by actor and writer Ben Faulks (CBeebies' Mr. Bloom), Plunge Boom today is run by Ben and Mimi Faulks, alongside a steadfast troupe of actors, artists and workshop leaders.
We love nothing more than bringing super high quality, thoroughly interactive experiences to events in the UK, Europe and beyond.
We’re currently piloting “Let’s Grow” our new educational resource for EYFS in Nurseries and schools in the North West. Click here http://www.plungeboom.com/the-vegetable-nannies for more information and watch this space.

Plunge Boom is run by husband and wife team Ben and Mimi Faulks, who work with a variety of local performers & artists to deliver their content.
The company was established by Ben in 2006 as a vehicle to develop interactive performances for public spaces. Since then a whole host of shows have been devised and toured to events in the UK and further afield.
In 2015, with the addition of Mimi, Plunge Boom began to offer outreach, workshops and bespoke events, further expanding their repertoire and their team.
Ben comes from a background of writing and performing for black box theatre and has produced shows on both national and international levels. In 2009 he pitched the concept of the Vegetable Nannies to the BBC. It was commissioned and went on to become the award winning CBeebies series, Mr Bloom's Nursery.
Mimi has a background in arts and education, creative event production, and designing and delivering family friendly workshops, interactive installations and engagement projects.
